Sales and distribution of all OEM unit products, complete equipment and factory spares by Roy Gripske and Sons Pty Ltd are organised through the activities of the company’s “Powerup Lawncare Products” ( PLP ) Division.
Originally established in 1993, PLP commenced operations by distributing Power Equipment products to dealers in the limited territory of the States of Queensland, New South Wales, and the Northern Territory.
The excellent field performance of the equipment and the PLP policy of unwavering support of all our dealers, progressively resulted in the development of a strong reputation for the provision of a range of high quality, commercial grade equipment, and first class service and dealer support. The PLP product range has also now been broadened to include other high quality equipment, exhaustively tested to ensure reliable performance under Australian market conditions.
These factors, coupled with aggressive coverage of the sales territory by dedicated specialist sales representatives, effectively supported by extensive programmes of media advertising and promotional activities, have enabled PLP to achieve impressive continuous growth in sales in every year since its’ establishment.
In recent years, the PLP Division distribution centres have been expanded to include Brisbane (QLD), Sydney (NSW), Melbourne (VIC), and Perth (WA), and in 2008 the Division was proud to be appointed as the Australian National Distributor of Shindaiwa Power Equipment Products.
The PLP Australian dealer network, which now totals more than 400 dealers, is currently serviced by 18 experienced and motivated sales representatives.
“State of the art”, on-line management systems for ordering, stock control, and performance monitoring, enable PLP to achieve an “order fill rate” of 98%, and most orders are shipped in less than 2 hours from receipt.
With total sales of unit products for the year to June 2009 now confidently expected to reach an all time record level, the PLP Division of Roy Gripske and Sons Pty Ltd looks forward to a future of continued sales growth, expansion of product lines, and the further strengthening of the vital core relationships with all our dealers.
