Warranty

What is covered by my warranty?

Each manufacturer has different times for limited warranty:

Maruyama and Bushranger has a limited warranty of 5 years for domestic users and 2 years for commercial users.

EverRide has a limited warranty of  a Lifetime Warranty on Deck shell, 2 years for Parts and 1 Year for Labour.

A “limited” warranty means that the manufacturer warrants the product to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and maintenance, subject to the periods, limitations and exclusions listed. The manufacturer will correct any defect in material or workmanship without charge for parts or labor at any authorized servicing dealer during the covered warranty period.

What does a limited warranty not cover?

Damage or defects brought about due to improper maintenance, lack or lubrication, normal wear and tear; misuse; modifications to or removal of original component parts; neglect or improper adjustments; fuel, oil, operating fuel mix, filters or parts not conforming to manufacturer's specifications; or service by other than authorized PLP servicing dealers.
PLP assumes no responsibility for damages, loss or injury resulting from damage due to the above mistreatment or neglect of the unit.

This warranty is limited to the terms stated herein. PLP disclaims all liability for incidental or consequential damages. PLP reserves the right to issue changes in manufacturers design or specifications of any product without obligation to modify previously distributed units.

Owner's Responsibilities

The owner shall demonstrate reasonable care in the use, maintenance and storage of the product distributed by PLP. Should a warranted failure occur, the owner shall deliver the product to an authorized PLP servicing dealer for correction.
Proof of purchase must be presented to the repairing authorized servicing dealer to obtain warranty service. This must include date of purchase, model and serial number and the name and address of the selling dealer.

How do I claim my unit under warranty?

If you purchased the unit in the prescribed warranty time and you believe is due to manufacturer failure. Please take your unit to the dealer you bought the unit with proof of purchase from and ask them to access the problem. You dealer will determine the cause of the fault and if it is under warranty. 

Why should I register my machine?

If you register your machine you will be informed if there is a recall or a specific fault with your unit. If you register after July 2007 you will be eligible to special deals on accessories for your unit.
